Introduction
Jiangsu Biochemical Chiral Engineering Technology Reseach Center (the "Center") was co-established by Changmao Biochemical Engineering Company Limited (the “CMBEC”), and was approved by Science and Technology Committee of Jiangsu Province in 2000, certified by Jiangsu Science and Technology Department in 2004.
The Center aims to innovate biochemical chiral industry in Jiangsu, strengthen chiral-tech platform, carry out research, certify and tech services. To develop key technologies in industrial, continuously provide mature tech supporting, in processes, equipment and products, the Center promotes the transformation of new tech, driven the tech upgrade, enhance the industrial innovation so as CMBEC's market competitiveness.
- Center Size
- The Center covers 1500 square meters, mainly includes biocatalysis laboratory, chemical synthesis laboratory and engineering amplification laboratory.
Imported equipment is introduced into the laboratory, covering fields such as biological fermentation, chemical synthesis, chiral resolution, etc.
In addition to the conventional small-scale test, the equipment also has an experimental production device with a scale of hundreds of kgs, which is suitable for amplification testing. - Projects
- The Center has successively undertaken a number of Scientific and Technological projects such includes the National 863 Program, international Industry Cooperation, Jiangsu Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievements transformation, Changzhou City key Scientific and Technological Projects, forming a virtuous circle of "R&D-production-sales-R&D".
The Center mainly involves in the area of construction of genetic engineered bacteria, biodegradable materials, substitution of agricultural/farm antibiotics and innovation of pharmaceutical excipients and intermediates.
